Founding Architect:

Serviceplan Belgium – founding architect of the Belgian Association of Marketing.

For Serviceplan Belgium it was an obvious choice to become founding architect of the newly raised Belgian Association of Marketing. Serviceplan Group positions itself as an integrated marketing communications services provider and that is why Serviceplan could not stay aside when the new BAM was created. Serviceplan believes that a strong and united marketing association was needed in the Belgian market.

Due to the recent development of the digital market, the different evolutions in the media arena, the rise of social media and the impact on consumer emancipation, etc… All of these trends gave birth, especially in Belgium to different specialised marketing associations. Specialisation and the quest for thorough expertise is good and needs to valorised, but there was and there still is a strong need for a broad, holistic, innovative, open marketing association that is acting as a federating marketing power, in order to be a guide but also a host for everybody who comes into contact with the field of marketing during his carreer, from early stage until the last days of his or her carreer or even beyond.

Serviceplan Group, as one of the leading pan-European agency groups, could not be absent in this new development of the marketing profession in Belgium.
